Zebra Desktop 28-Series Discontinuation

With the recent release of the peel and cutter options, the G-Series now offers a full compliment of new Desktop configurations and a migration or upgrade path for Zebra 28-series Desktop printers. As such, Zebra Technologies Europe Limited is announcing the discontinuance schedule for the following 4-inch Desktop configurations:

Orders placed by the last time buy date can be scheduled for shipment no later than the last time shipment date.

New orders for these configurations will not be accepted after the last time buy dates unless there is remaining unallocated inventory.

Service, parts and support will continue to be available for approximately three years from the date of shipment.

The G-Series is a more comprehensive and more cost effective desktop proposition and full sales, marketing and technical details of the G-Series, plus information on the features and benefits of these printers can be found at the G-Series site at http://www.g-series.info. Maintaining the new printers has also never been easier with the new ZebraCare depot repair offerings, which also give more than 20% cost saving when compared to the 28-series.

The 13.56MHz RFID HF enabled desktop printer; the R2844-Z, will continue to be part of the RFID product portfolio.
