New enhanced USB cables

Datalogic Scanning is pleased to introduce new enhanced USB cables for the QuickScan® QD2100, QD2300 and the Gryphon™ GD4100 products. These new cables will be available in mid-February, 2009. Even though these products can continue to use the existing USB cables, customers will need to order the following new cables to work with the above mentioned products beginning in mid-February, 2009.

Regarding the USB cable currently included in the ‘Scanner/Cable USB Kit’ and the ‘Scanner/Cable/Stand USB Kit’, Datalogic will be updating the cable from CAB426 to CAB426E by the end of March, 2009.

The price of the new cable will remain the same as the existing cable. These new USB cables will work for the above mentioned products as well as the upcoming releases of new general purpose scanners, with the exception of these legacy handheld readers: Touch, Heron, Heron G and the Gryphon D/M family. The existing cables will still be available for these legacy products.
