Star Micronics - Training Courses 2006

The Star Micronics Technical Department are planning to hold a series of Training Courses during 2006.The courses are of a two day duration and will be held at the Star Micronics Europe Office in High Wycombe.

To ensure that each attendee gets the most out of the time spent away from their office, there are two different courses available, with each individual course designed for specific areas as listed below :-

Features & Benefits Course:
9th ~ 10th August
20th ~ 21st September
18th ~ 19th October

Designed for all Star Product Mangers, Sales Managers and Field and Internal Sales Staff:
The complete introduction of the Star range of POS Printers, including Features and Benefits, Target Markets, Future Developments, Star Web Site Navigation, Printer Drivers and Manuals.

Technical Support Course:
30th ~ 31st August
13th ~ 14th September
4th ~ 5th October

Designed for Technical Support Engineers, System Integrator Engineers and other Support Staff.
A thorough introduction to the use of Set-up and Diagnostic Utilities, Windows Driver Set-up, Firmware History and Updates, Graphics Techniques and Test File production and other Customer Support Related Issues and Solutions.

*NB - the Features & Benefits course is a non technical course primarily targeted towards Sales related staff.

Copies of all relevant Manuals will be made available to each attendee.

Accommodation and Travel Arrangements
The courses will be provided on a No Cost basis, but each attendee will be responsible for their Hotel and Transportation costs.

A buffet lunch will be served on each day of the course and Star will provide dinner for each attendee on the Wednesday evenings.
