Intermec SR30 2D area imager

Intermec is pleased to announce that the SR30 scanner family now includes a 2D area imager version. In addition, both the 1D and 2D scanners now offer a keyboard wedge Y cable option, and the latest 1D linear imager version of the SR30 now includes wand emulation capability for connectivity to current production Intermec terminals as well as legacy Antares 24xx series terminals.

Scan optics available for the SR30 include: Linear Imager (EV12) and Area Imager (EA15) Cable interfaces include RS232, Keyboard Wedge and USB. The wand emulation interface is only supported by the SR30AVTT01 configuration which supersedes the SR30AVTT00 configuration effective immediately. The new wand emulation cable (236-163-003) only functions with the SR30AVTT01 configuration, not the SR30AVTT00 or SR30AATT00.

Please note: there is no plan to offer an un-decoded or cordless version of the SR30.

Ordering and Availability

All RS232 serial kits now include the universal power supply along with the scanner and cable. Intermec has also taken this opportunity to revise the pricing of the SR30 1D configurations.
