Intermec ScanPlus 1800 series Retirement Schedule

After many years of very successful sales, this Product Alert is intended to serve as the official communication of End of Life (EOL) of Intermec ScanPlus 1800 series. At the same time and to ensure our value partners and customers a successful migration path, Intermec is pleased to announce that this product will be replaced by the new SR30 handheld scanner. This notification is to give our valued partners and customers as much time as possible to plan for this product change.

Be aware that 1802 scanner and accessories related are not covered by this EOL.

1800 series Retirement Schedule
• 1st Retirement Notice: September 2007
• 2nd Retirement Notice: November 2007
• Last Customer Ship Date: January 31st, 2008

Migration Path: New SR30 Scanner
The SR30 is a general duty tethered scanner designed for point of service applications in environments that include healthcare, retail, hospitality, office, and light industrial. Business development units (BDUs) have been shipped out this week. Please contact your Regional Sales Manager and or Channel Business Manager to request an SR30 BDU for your
sales opportunities.
