Solution

The Petrol Distribution sector is one of the most dynamical and growing industrial market. Each day it is required to deliver, in a highly accurate way, millions of liters of Fuel to local Petrol Service Stations. Such deliveries needs to be registered 100% correctly. Most of times these fuel deliveries will take place on remote Petrol Service Stations locations and requires immediate updates to the central depot.

With the solutions designed by ALVIC, customers can implement a complete solution. From an automatic system to deliver fuel 24 hours a day connected to the Companies central data base. Up-to a management system managing all fuel retail shop articles in real time and to process the orders to the different suppliers.

Most importantly it will track and trace all Fuel deliveries based on location, day and time. The back office system allows for route optimization and modifications of routes for ad-hoc planed customer needs.

ALVIC has standardized on UNITECH devices since 2003, starting with one of the first Unitech PDA’s. More recently they have successfully implemented the latest model from the PA600 series which is the PA600 Phone Edition including it’s in-car solution cradle.

The PA600PE incorporates GPRS data-communications, GSM Voice, BT connectivity and WIFI to update and synchronize the data of each Service Station. Its Windows Mobile 6.1 OS, improved LCD touch screen for outdoor usage makes it a perfect solution for Alvic’s end-users in this sector.

The PA600 Phone Edition is running Alvic’s Software CAR3,
an integrated management solution for logistics and fuel distribution. CAR3 is fully in line with all regulations and steps to carry out fuel distribution and delivery. It allows end-users to comply with legal responsibilities for both the company and the delivery fuel truck in terms of tracking and tracing.

In addition to CAR3 Software solutions Alvic has developed the TMV System, offering an easier way to register selling of goods. Additionally it offers the driver to be in constant communications with the office via GPRS giving the back office instant fleet localization and route optimization options. It also adds Bluetooth printing capabilities to the solution for printing delivery notes at the point of activity.

Loading Automation System is the system allowing you to control the loading, unloading of Fuel trucks at the depots. It monitors a complete Fuel plant providing all kinds of information on fuel truck capacity, liters loaded as well as information on other processes. This way, users will have all Fuel processes under control.
