Microscan MS-3 grommet change

This notice is to inform you of a minor modification to Microscan’s MS-3 Laser and MS-3 CCD products. Future versions of these products will feature a different grommet on the MS-3 assembly cable.

No problems with the existing configuration have been experienced; however, it was determined that a more secure and reliable strain relief at the package to cable bond could be realized with this grommet modification. Future standard and nonstandard MS-3 products (FIS-0003-xxxx and FIS-0003-xxxxG) will receive this modification and technical performance and package size will not be affected.
