New firmware software for Datalogic Magellan 1000i and 1400i

Datalogic Magellan softeware upgrade. Datalogic Scanning announce the release of a new imaging version of the Magellan 1000i which includes support for PDF417 and Data Matrix decoding. This is the first time so much performance and flexibility have been offered in a presentation scanner that is small and economical! In addition, all of the new features and capabilities of this advanced version of premium firmware software will be added to newly built models of the Magellan 1400i for no extra charge!

Magellan 1000i Ordering Information

Beginning immediately you may order the new PDF417/Data Matrix decoding software option with the scanner only or in a complete scanner kit with available accessories, but the software option is not available as a stand alone accessory or as a field upgrade

Magellan 1400i Ordering Information

There is no change to the Magellan 1400i ordering information. All the new features and capabilities will automatically be added to all versions of the product at no additional charge beginning with units manufactured after May 2, 2008.

Service Upgrade Ordering Information

Only units manufactured after June 30, 2006 may be upgraded via a Datalogic Scanning Service Center.

Restrictions

This new software is not available as a field upgrade and should be purchased with the scanner. This version of software is compatible with all units manufactured after June 30, 2006 but can only be upgraded by a Datalogic Service Center.
