LXE EOL Notice for XP Embedded on VX5

With the release of the LXE VX8 Kärv and VX9 Förj industrial mobile computers, both available with the Microsoft Windows® Embedded operating system, the demand for the VX5 with XP Embedded has significantly decreased.

The Windows XP Embedded option was offered on the VX5 only in LXE International regions, mainly in Europe.

LXE is now announcing the End-Of-Life for the XP Embedded option on VX5, effective immediately. As usual, LXE will make an effort to continue to provide support to existing customers who are using the XP Embedded operating system for a period of 5 years after this EOL announcement.
