CN2A Mobile computer. Product Retirement

This Product Alert is intended to serve as the official notice of the upcoming retirement of the Intermec CN2A mobile computer. Due to the rapid movement of the market to the recently introduced CN2B, Intermec has made a strategic decision to allocate investment in other products within the portfolio.

Migration Path

The CN2B offers an ideal migration path for customers that have implemented the CN2A. The CN2B supports the same form-factor and accessory portfolio; while providing the customer with several enhancements.

• 802.11 b/g – Cisco CCX v.2 certified
• EV10 Linear Imager w/ expanded symbology support
• 22-key Numeric keypad
• Tethered Stylus

In order to make the migration easier and smoother, Intermec announce the expansion of the configuration options within the CN2B portfolio to include a batch version. With the rapid adoption in the field mobility application arena, many customers do not require the use of an 802.11 radio but still need the flexibility of Bluetooth to enable data communication for printing and data transfer.
