SF51 Interfaces to Blackberry, Palm OS, Symbian, Apple OS X and Windows Mobile Platforms

Intermec is pleased to announce a new Product Links Partnership with SerialIO (Serial “eye” “oh”). SerialIO specializes in virtual keyboard wedge software that enables users to port scanned data from their Bluetooth enabled SF51 scanner to their Blackberry, Symbian smart phones, or devices running Palm, Apple X, and Windows Mobile operating system platforms.

This is ideal for field service, mobile sales, transportation and logistics, and mobile healthcare applications that require scanning. The SF51 scanner is about the size of a flashlight. It is small, lightweight and easy to use. The unique magnetic holder enables users to easily access it when needed and keep it out of the way when not in use. Enabling users to scan information to mobile Blackberry, smart phones, and palm devices facilitates ordering repair parts from the field, faster response times, tracking service calls or deliveries, inventory management, and billing customers.
