Elo TouchSystems - Interactive Digital Signage Displays

ELO announce the addition of the 3200L, 4200L and 4600L Interactive Digital Signage (IDS) touch displays to the Elo product portfolio. This family of touch displays is designed to advance traditional digital signage with the addition of interactivity through touch. The 5200L will be released in approximately 3 months, watch for this announcement. Also available with this product family is an optional high performance computer module that seamlessly integrates with the display.

The interactive digital signage display family is available with Zero-Bezel Acoustic Pulse Recognition (APR) touch technology. APR combines the high-quality optical clarity, durability, and stability of surface acoustic wave (SAW) and infrared technologies, with the robust dragging properties of surface capacitive, and the stylus and fingernail activation advantages of resistive technology. Zero-Bezel APR offers a unique, aesthetically-pleasing seamless design and is also resistant to water and other contaminants on the screen.

According to industry experts, interactive digital signage is expected to offer the greatest growth potential in the Digital Signage industry. Designed for applications that require a large viewing area, such as, airport terminals and retail Point-Of-Service (POS) / Point-of-Information (POI) environments, interactive digital signage can significantly increase customer engagement and satisfaction. Additionally, interactivity adds the ability to measure customer response to marketing messages in real time.

Availability

Production is underway and a limited number of units will be available in Europe in June, 2010.
