Datalogic QuickScan Mobile with IBM Interface

To complete the QuickScan Mobile product offer, Datalogic Scanning now announce the availability of two new models equipped with IBM 46XX, IBM POS and RS-232 interfaces.

The availability of the IBM interfaces in addition to the existing interfaces further enhance the suitability of this solution for POS checkout application environments. It also provides the opportunity to migrate from the existing IBM 46XX to an IBM POS cash register connection by simply replacing the cable and interface configuration without changing or modifying the unit.

IBM equipped interface models provide all the same features and performance as the standard multi-interface versions. For customers using IBM cash registers, QuickScan Mobile represents the most cost effective alternative to traditional corded scanners, making cordless scanning a truly achievable option.

Together with the new QuickScan Mobile models, two new cables are now available to connect the reader to port 5 or 9 of the IBM POS terminals.
