Discontinuance of Zebra 28-Series and ZebraNet PrintServer II

The LP2824 Plus and TLP2824 Plus represent the next step in compact desktop printing. The 2824 Plus offers a feature rich and cost effective proposition that is further enhanced with new software items such as Zebra Setup Utilities and the Zebra OPOS Driver to support existing applications as well as developing new opportunities. As such, Zebra Technologies Europe Limited is announcing the discontinuance of the following printer models:

Alongside the 2824 and 2824-Z announcement, Zebra Technologies Europe Limited will also be announcing the discontinuation of the external 10Base-T print server for a faster and more cost effective option.

Orders placed by 29th January 2010 can be scheduled for shipment no later than 5th February 2010. New orders for these factory installed options will not be accepted after 29th January 2010 unless there is remaining unallocated inventory. Service, parts and support will continue to be available for approximately three years from the date of shipment.

This announcement will be published in the next edition of Bars and Stripes and these changes will be reflected in the Desktop printer price lists effective from February 2010.
