Datamax O`Neil USB/SDIO Option

The combined USB/SDIO Option provides a number of benefits, including expanded removable memory and connection to keyboards, bar-code scanners and other USB devices.

SDIO & USB Memory Expansion

The option adds up to 8GB additional removable memory to your printer, and allows you to:

• Store large font sets or images
• Store 1000s of label formats
• Easily duplicate printer configurations, including parameter, fonts, firmware, labels and images.
• Quickly copy files to and from the removable SDIO and USB memory devices
• Conveniently update firmware versions without a PC attached

USB Keyboard Connectivity / Additional USB/SDIO Feature Enhancements

• Connect USB keyboards to the printer using the out-of-box “Advance Line Mode Printing”
• Connect USB keyboards and scanners for MCL custom projects
• Support of additional DPL files extension to include “.txt” and “.prn”
• D-O supported file extension when copying file types
• Ability to copy configuration files to or from a SDIO / USB removable memory device.

Requirements

To take advantage of the enhanced USB/SDIO options on Datamax-O’Neil printers, you should have the following firmware level and supported USB/SDIO option installed:

• H-Class and M-Class MK II – Ver. 12.071 or greater
• A-Class MK II – Ver. 12.07 or greater.
