Release of the Newly Updated Datamax S-Class Family of Ticket Printers

The newly updated S-Class admissions industry ticket printer combines the increased communications and
configurability of updated feature rich, field proven electronics with the existing, simple to use S-Class hardware design.
The result is a Flash memory based ticket printer with a 32-bit Toshiba processor and serial, parallel, and USB
communications ports as standard features that will replace the existing legacy S-Class models.
The new S-Class ticket printers include the following features:

• Autoranging power supply. Just select the country-specific power cord!
• Serial, IEEE 1284 bi-directional parallel, and USB communication ports
• 4MB RAM, 2MB Flash memory (256KB available to user). No more EPROMS!
• Flash memory-based international language support. No more plug-in modules
• Datamax printer configurator utility, DMXConfig, supports the S-Class
• Same physical footprint and cabinetry as the existing legacy S-Class
• DPL and DTPL printer language compatible with the existing legacy S-Class
• Base model prices are the same as the existing legacy S-Class. More value – same price!
• RoHS (Reduction of Hazardous Substances) compliant

Available options include:
• Ticket cutter (cutter for SV models also includes ticket present assembly)
• Topside reflective media sensor
• 2” (50.8mm) or 3.25” (82.55mm) wide ticket cutter tray
• Media hanger for rolled tickets (ST model only)
• 4MB Flash memory upgrade
• CGTimes, Korean, or Simplified Chinese international fonts
