Datalogic DS4800 is not afraid of cold!

With the DS4800 Subzero Datalogic Automation extends its product portfolio completing 4000 family designed for the Factory Automation market, mainly for Shop Floor and Automatic Warehousing applications.

The DS4800 Subzero is a new model inside the 4000 Series, designed to extends the application range of the standard DS4800 laser scanners thanks to its capability to operate even inside low temperature environments (up to -35 °C).

This new model is equipped with an integrated heating system which constantly monitors and automatically controls the internal temperature, heating only the necessary temperature-sensitive components and thereby keeping them functioning within their designed operating range even though the outside temperature is below this value. This results in very low power consumption.
