Datalogic Debuts a New Modem Cradle for Datalogic Skorpio

Datalogic Cradle After the recent announcement of the two single cradles featuring USB/RS232 and Ethernet/USB respectively, the Datalogic Skorpio and Skorpio-GUN now have a third new single cradle option featuring modem communication. Each of these charging cradles provide a position for a single device and an additional spare battery, for service in the most scan intensive environments. They use the same FPS18 power supply (94ACC4595) from the former cradles.

The new Skorpio single modem cradle is fully backward compatible with all those applications developed for the former modem cradle.

Skorpio single cradle Modem + RS232, with spare battery charger:
• Modem and Serial communications
• Maximum modem speed is 56Kbit/s
•Software selection of communication enables modem or RS232 modes of operation
• 2 LEDs to indicate charge and communication status
• RJ-11, standard modem connector
• RJ-45, standard RS232 serial connector

These new modem cradles will replace the existing generation of Skorpio single modem cradles.

Should Partners require to buy specifically the accessories which will be discontinued, we would kindly ask them to place their last-buy orders within the next few weeks, if demand is known. Partners with repairing authorization must make stock of these accessories as their availability for sale will not be granted from the obsolescence date on.
