Datalogic Mobile announces the availability of the Pegaso™ Industrial PDA. The Pegaso™ PDA is a full featured data capture solution that, together with a collection of quick-attach accessories, combines flexibility and power in a rugged and ergonomic design.

Name Change
Formerly known as the Falcon® P20 and P40, Datalogic is introducing a new brand name to represent our new industrial PDA products. The new name, the Datalogic Pegaso™ , comes from the Italian word for Pegasus, relating its power, durability, and agility to the mythological winged horse.

The Datalogic Pegaso™ industrial PDA is a full featured data capture solution that, together with a collection of quick-attach  accessories, combines flexibility and power in a rugged and ergonomic design. Pegaso is ideal for inventory management in retail, office applications, healthcare, or manufacturing. It also is an excellent choice for warehouse and distribution centers as an associate’s or manager’s device where the application requires both data communications and data capture. A sunlight viewable full VGA display with touch screen makes Pegaso a great choice for field applications too.

Pegaso features an Intel PXA 270 processor, 802.11b/g wireless LAN,  and a laser bar code reader. A user accessible SDIO port provides expandability for additional memory or peripherals. Pegaso has an  industry leading 3.6 inch VGA 480X640 TFT LCD touchscreen display. An extended capacity Li Ion battery is available on models with wireless networking. Bluetooth communications will be available soon.
