Announcement of Catcher Obsolescence

With the recent introduction of Datalogics new Magellan 1000i and Magellan 1400i, we have decided to streamline our product offering and will be discontinuing the Catcher product line. The recently improved Diamond presentation scanner will remain in our presentation scanner line-up along with the new Magellan imaging based presentation scanners. This bulletin is intended to provide advance written notice of Catcher obsolescence so product transition plans (including any last time purchases) can be made before it is no longer available.

Obsolescence Schedule for All Regions

*The last date of support for all Extended Warranty, Service Plus, and Quick Replacement Programs for all models will be December 31, 2010. Last time buys and service dates are subject to parts availability and stock on hand.

Replacement Products

The Catcher can be replaced directly by any of the remaining products from our comprehensive line of presentation scanners which include the Diamond, Magellan 1000i, Magellan 1400i and Magellan 2200VS.
