LINUX bidirectional drivers now available (MGTA/CM/RM printers)

Bidirectional drivers for LINUX operating system are now available with Axiohm MGTA and CM/RM Premium printer mechanisms when driven by Compact II controller board.

Please note that this bidirectional driver is compatible with all Axiohm’s mechanisms as long as driven by Axiohm´s latest generation of controller boards Compact II.

Bidirectional drivers are the next level in the evolution of thermal printer drivers and they represent a significant step towards satisfying customer’s demands for faultless printer management.

With Bi-Directional communication, a printer driver communicates with the printer through your network. After an initial setup procedure, Bi-Directional communication automatically updates the printer driver with the printer’s installed options and reports specific information about the printer´s operational status: end of paper, door open, etc.
