Axiohm CM/RM Series thermal printer mechanisms

With years of printing technology experience, Axiohm presents a Premium version of the long time customer favorite CM/RM Series that offers even more outstanding features: ultra silent, top printing speed up to 250 mm/s, long life auto cutter (1 Million cuts) with both full and partial cuts, optimized printing quality (resolution of 8 dots/ mm). With its newly extended 56 mm printing width, the Premium version of this 60 mm mechanism was designed to maximize printing space, making it a cost effective and paper saving solution.

Robustness and Versatility
Commonly used in transportation, where harsh operating conditions apply, the CM/RM series has proven its robustness through out the years. Based on enhanced technologies, the newly launched Premium version of the mechanism features top of the range reliability with a mechanical life expectancy up to 100 km. Available in both 12V & 24V versions, the CM/RM is suitable for a variety of applications. A version of the series is even dedicated to printing on thick paper (up to 190μm): The perfect match for pre-paid phone cards, loyalty cards, contactless / RFID cards printing.

Compact and easy to integrate
With a frame moulded close around the printhead, the CM/RM series has the crucial advantage of being compact, providing maximum flexibility in the integration process. Designed with a single flex connection for plug and play, the RM version features an incorporated reliable cutter into the flat hinged cover. It is therefore an excellent solution for wall embedded applications, saving valuable engineering work and time.

Description of CM/RM series of mechanisms including a standard and premium version

Standard Version - CM / RM - 60 mm
Compact thermal printer mechanism with integrated cutter - 60mm. The mechanism can be supplied with a cutter (RM version) or with just a tearbar (CM version). Thanks to the smart integration of its reliable cutter (1 million cuts) into the hinged cover, the size of the RM series is considerably smaller than most of the printer mechanisms on the market.
CMDG, a version of the mechanism allows printing on very thick paper, up to 170 µm, for current application such as prepaid phone cards and contactless cards integrating RFID applications. With this product, you can print on card stock of many different sizes and thicknesses (up to 0.25mm), as well as on labels at high speed (up to 90 mm/s), while taking advantage of a single connection concept.

For more demanding applications, top printing speed can be found in the Premium version of the CM/RM mechanism series.

Premium Version - CM/RM Premium - 60 mm

With its 56 mm printing width, the Premium version of this 60 mm mechanism was designed to maximize printing space, making it a cost effective and paper saving solution.

Available in both 12V & 24V versions, with cutter (RM version) or without (CM version), the CM/RM series is suitable for a variety of applications. A version of the series is even dedicated to printing on thick paper (up to 190µm): The perfect match for pre-paid phone cards, loyalty cards, contactless / RFID cards printing.

With a single flex connection for plug and play and an incorporated reliable cutter into the flat hinged cover, the RM version of the series saves valuable engineering work and time. For less demanding applications, lower printing speed can be found in the Standard version of the CM/RM mechanism.
