Datalogic Formula expands with Asset Tracking Application

Datalogics Formula now ships with item tracking and inventory applications. These ready to use applications allow installations to be up and running in record time. Easily configured prompts customize data collection to the enterprise needs within minutes while user variable fonts allow on the fly changes from a large font for ease of reading to a normal font for reviewing long lists.

Applications

• New – TIMESTMP is a simple item-tracking application that records the date and time that each item is scanned
• New – TRACK records check-in and check-out of articles (e.g., supplies, books, files, tools, equipment) at one or more locations. TRACKPRO uses two prompts, one for location and one for item, looping at the second prompt until the user exits to record a new location ID. An optional date/time stamp records exactly when each item is taken or returned.
• ASSET tracks items (such as furniture, phones, computers, and electronic equipment) at various locations (e.g., departments, rooms, floors, buildings). Enter an identification code for a location, collect all the asset IDs at the location, and then enter an identification code for the new location.
• INV collects an inventory with a choice between one prompt or two. For example, use one prompt to scan or enter an ID number or description for each item. Two prompts would be used to scan or enter an item ID and the quantity of that item.
