Intermec MEMS scanner ready for shipment

Intermec’s advanced MEMS laser technologies (EL10) is scheduled for manufacturing release from 1st January 2006 for all Intermec 741, 751 and 761 configurations.

This seamless and innovative migration will provide customers an extended technology and product lifecycle, as well as:

1) Lower power requirements – that is, longer battery life
2) Snappier scanning and improved readability
3) Longer useful life - due to the elimination of the laser motor and therefore a lower risk of performance degradation over time.
4) Intermec’s intuitive aiming dot implementation - which enables accurate scanning for barcodes lists and any closely positioned barcode
